Artist Statement
I work in miniature, a scale that has captivated me since childhood - where the world shrinks, and in its intimacy, reveals its deepest truths. My current series explores the tension between tenderness and impermanence, where bronze hands cradle what remains: a skull, a ring, a bird’s fragile bones. Titles like 'Elemental Embrace: A Journey of Departure' and 'Threads of Fragility' speak to the poetry of holding on, even as we let go.
These works are gestures - tiny, deliberate acts of love for what fades. In 'The Lovers: Where Flowers Grow, He Watches Still', romance and remembrance entwine: skulls adorned with sapphires, blossoms, and quiet devotion. My fascination with the miniature becomes a kind of ritual, a way to explore life’s shadow side with reverence, curiosity, and care.
Through precious metals and tiny forms, I invite viewers into a world where beauty and mortality sit hand in hand - where even the smallest figures carry the weight of longing, memory, and love.
